Action Of The Bar

At a meeting of the Ann Arbor bar, beid last Saturday p. m., in the court room, an orgnnizatlon was efïetinl, and the lollowing ofñeers elected : President, Hen. Andrew J. Sawyer ; j secretary, Art'nir Brown ; treas., J. W. Bennett. It costa a $1 and a eerti ieats of admis-ion to the bar to get into tli i- select non-secret society. Action was taken relative to uivin'í a leception on September 28.in honor of the !)Oth 1)iithd.ty_ of Kx-Covei nor Alplicns Felch, and i committee consisting oí Messrs A. .T. Sawyer, John V. Lawrence, Kx-Mayor I!. M. Thompson, Judge J. W'. Babbitt, and Prosecjiting Attorijey Thos. D. Kearney, were appointed to make the neceesary arrangements. Got. Felch althougli so far advanced in years, is hale and hearty, and would easily jiass for a man ol 75.
