The following preparation, -vhich comes to us "vell recommended, is said to have a fine effect on scanty locks : Ti net uve of ennthnridos, three ounces ; glycerine.t hree ounces ; bay ruin six ounces ; aromatic spirits oï ammonla, one ounce. b cantliarídes i.s a preparation os Spanish flies, and has the virtue of drawing well ; the ammonla ivi'.l help timulate the scalp ; the glyeerlne ■vill sooth, heal and nourish, undthe bay rum avíII invigovate, and at the same time cleanse. Uso daily for two weeks and tlien semi-weekly. It should be rubbed into tho scalp and then taken out with a stiff brush. It is asserted this lotion also aids in preventing the hair from lalling out.
