Supt. W. S. Perry, of the liigli scliool, who is state manager of the interests of Michigan teachers in the National Teachers' association convention, to be lield in Denver daring the second week of July, lias nearly completed arrangements for the transportation and care of Michigan teachers. His associates on the committee are Superintendent of Public Instruction II. R. Pattengill, of Lansing, and Principal Gleason, of Grand Rapids high school. Mr. Perry says that Michigan teachers will travel over the Northwestern and Union Pacific railroads in a body,, the company being supplied with palace cara, and being given 011e half the prevailing rates of the titne. Michigan teachers will leave on Saturday, July C. Arrangeïnents have been made for Michigan headquarters at Denver in Hotel Broadway. It is probable, too, that a western excursión will-be taken, after the convention, the Rio Grande and Northern railroad having offered very cheap rates to Utah, aronnd the Circle and to Pike's Peak.
