Don't allow smelling salts or any preparation oL ammonia to be used too persistently in case of fainting, as serious injury may be caused to the Hnlng membrane of the respiratory passages. Don't attempt to argüe wittí a delirlous patiënt or contradict his assertions, but appear as interested as possible in the conversation. Don't let a delirious person see that you are afraid, or inclined to let him have his own way. Always be flrm but gentle. Don't wake a patiënt for food or medicine unless ordered to do so by the medical attendant. Don't use any means of removing moles or superfiuous hair until you consult your physician. Don't leave knives, seissors, or any dangerous weapon within reach of a delirious patiënt. Don't leave Windows unfastened in a delirious patient's room.
