'T. Icenbarger, a prominent druggüi oí Dayton, Ohio, has lately made an extended trip througli the dry, Alko.il plains of "Western Kansas, jïebraska and Colorado, and discovered how Iidmsely penetrating are the sanda and irritating dust of the desert, making speech difficult and breathing sometimes almost impossible, the passnues oí the head and throat being Ulied ivitli tliis almost impalpable and lritating powder, and this, vvith the sti.Hng heat, made the bodily t.ondition almost unbearable. Fortunately he had "with. him a jar of Pretzingei-'s Catarrh Balm, which he snuffed up into his head and throat, and allc.wed the other travelers in the car to use, and the nasal passages vvere keptr open during the entire iourney tlirough the desert. Mr. Icenbarger is of the opinión Ihat the horrible choking sensations so common among catarrhal sufferers is catised by a similar dust that is in our atmosphere, though unseen, and says that. in his drug store at Dayton, O., he has had numbers of customers who hare been almost instantly relieved lien suffering painfully. He recommends it to everybody -vho is suffering f rom catarrh or any other disease of the head or throat.
