Wherever that plan ha.s been adoptedit works admiraby, we are told. It ■would put an end to the constant injfstice practiced upon the taxpayers vho happen to live in cities, ior one thing, and for another it would -V the means of securing the transactioi. ol the county's business in a more thorough, methodical and economical manner. Under this proposed sys1e.m tïie bridges of the county are all made at county expense, and a small body of taxpayers are not compelled to erect an expensive bridge afc their civn expense for the public neneflt.
