The entertainment committee of the ■floman's Anxiliary of the V. M. C. A. made an excellent showing of work done during the past year. The fiisfc effort was the Thankegivlng foancuet, in the Presbyterian church, givi to the members of the Y. M. C. A.: anfl thelr wives. There were 00 covers laid. The New Years receptioi. followed, then in February the cemmittee tea for C5 covers. StlU later the animal banquet to the snstaining members and thelr wives with 250 covers. was followed by a series of BOdate, one at Mrs. Schairer's, one at the Y. M. C. A. rooms, one on Mrs "Wetmore's lawn and one on Mrs. Peri;- s lawn. Or. the let of Oetober light refreshraentir were served to the boys on tbo occasion of the opening oí their cening classes. The socials netted the organiza tion $45 and the entertainment were all piovided without drawing on the tieasury. Ihis indicates a busy year ior the vomen, but Mrs. Perry, the ehairiL.an, roported most wiUing ohlpers, and an enjoyable time. Mrs. Geo. Slcore and Mrs. Schairer take her X.lace for the coming year.
