Tli e young people enjoyed the masic and waxed floor of the auditorium uii stairs, while the older people enjojed the social chat and greetings iii the parlors below, together wiih Ihe very appropriate dainties served bj' the ladies of the pariüü iu the rooms of the ediïice devoted to tliat purpose. The geniaüty of the Lost and hostess, together with the iaige number of guests and pleasane suiroundings. made the occasion not crly 'brilliant, but one thafc wlll ling-er in the memory of the guests in a pifasant way for many a day to come
