It Will Be A Beauty

Lovers of the beautiful will be glven a ricli treat very sooii. The ladies of ?t. Andrew's parish have in preparation a "Festival of Holidays," to be held at Harria hall, from Dec. 0 to 10 inclusive, except Sumlay. In the first place Hairis hall wlll be transformed iato a bower of lovelincss. The ladies wlll have sis bootltó erected, one each for Cliristmas, New ïear, Thanksgiving, St Valenttne's Day, Easter, and Independence Day - more popularly called the Fourth of July. These booths will be hártdsome]y adorned with appropriate draplngs in eolors suitable for each. For instance in the Independence booth the red, white and blue will predomínate, and it wlll be snpplied with all sorts of appropriate goods and designs for tliat natal day of Liberty. In St. Valentine's Day booth will be found cupids, and hearts and darts, and beautiful young ladies Avho will attitact the attention of people to the articles offered for sale, by all the arts imaginable. The Easter booth will be eggs-prees]y eggs-cruciating and its delisrlits canBot be eggs-aggcrated. Splendid things can be said of the other booths also. The ladiee !isplayed a great deal of genius some years ago on a "Festival of Days," and now they propose to outclo that memorable event by this "Festival of Holidays." Be ye prepared for yo will not deslre to pass it by unheeded.
