The wood working shops of the Aun, Arbor road at Owosso were wholly deStroyed by lire Monday night, and one man was burned alniost to a einder and another so badly burned that he is not expected to live. The fire sfcaiited at 0 o'clock, tea minutes of ter the men quit work. ïhe total loss will bc oeaa-ly $10,000, pai-tially insured. Harry Kenney and Fred Pease, carperrters, who were employed by tlie coinpany, wedt int the bunning building to get tlieir tools, and Pease was overeóme by the heat ad smoke and was creniaited. Konney was restciued more dead ilian aMve, and the first that was known of Pease's fate was wihen Kenmey revived sutliciently to Balk. He says he saw Pease i'all on his face near his woikbench in the burning building. A special efforib on the port of the foreman revealed the fact thait Kenney was not mistaken.
