In the trial of a case in Powell connty not long ago the attorneys objected to all the jurors who had been suinmoned save one. As no others were at hand, it waa agreed that the aotion Bhould be tried by the one remaining jnryman. Af ter the evidence was heard the judge told the lone juror to retire and make np a verdict. He retired, and, af ter staying out f or over an honr, oame back and reported solemnly that the jnry had f ai led to agree npon a verdict. - Lonisville Courier-Journal.
