Republican District Convention

A delégate cönventiom of tSie republican lectors of the 2d eongressiomij district of Michigan, will le held at tihe court house in the city of Jackson, Mich., on the 15th day of July 1S96, at 12 o'clock noon, for the purpase oif nominating a candidate for representative in cougress ror said 2d district, and the transacción of such O'ther business as !may properly come before the convention. The district is composed of t.he following countieB : Jackson, Lenawee., Monroe, WaBhtenaw and ten townsliips in Wayne, -viz.: Brownstown, danton, Ecorse, Hurón, Monguagun, Plymoutih, Komulus, Sumpter, Taylor, VanBuren and the first, gecond and third wards oí, the city oí Wya-ndortte. i Tïie nuinfoer of delegates each count-y is entitled to is as follows, viz. : Jackson, 21; Lenawee, 23; Monroe, 14; Washtenaw, 19; Wayne (that portion included in 'he districi), 11. . . . .
