The School Board Committees

At a special meeting of the Board of Éducation, last Friday, President Anna B. Bach announced the following standing committees for the year : Teachers and Text-books - Mrs. Anna Bach, J. E. Beal, E. H. Scott. Buildings and Grounds - Christian Mack, E. H. Scott, J. T. Jacobs. Finance - Ottmar Eberbacb, Dr. W. B. Sniitli, Christain Mack. Library - Miss Emraa E. Bower. Dr. W. B. Smith, J. E. Beal. Supplies-J. T. Jacobs, E. F. Mills, Ottmar Eberbach. Upon inotion of Trustee Bower, Trustees Mack and Mills ere appointed as a committee on tuitionfor the ensuing year witb power to act in all cases. [ pon requestof the secretan-, Trustee Bower moved that all warrant drawn liv Ihe secretary be countereigned by the president, whicb motion prevailed. The committee on Buildings and Grounds reported that they had contracted with R. C. Barney for a stone gidewalk at the Tappan school at 17J-4 cents per square foot for 2}4 inch stone. The $40,000 bond of Treasurer Beal with the following sureties was presented to the board and was formally accepted: Phosbe E. Beal, J. E. Travis, J. J. Goodyear, W. J. Booth, H. Soule and E. E. Beal.
