Iu effective execution demands all the forcé that can be mustered from the faculties and students of the departments as well as the coöperation of the musical talent of the town. Every one who has the ability to help, and who takes any pride ia the success of the Univeraity in the celebration of her half-hundreth birthday, should at once join the chorus. The semi-centennial is a grand occasion; few are destined to see a second one; great numberg will be preient; iu success will be a matter of general report, and also a part of our history. The oratorio is the one thing in the performance of which very many of the officers and students can oontribute eñectively to that success. The chorus meet for practice in room 24, north wing, every Tuesday evening at 7J o'clock, local time. We hope to see at once, what we much need, a íarge accession of new members.
