Chicago, March 19. - The National Woman's Christían Temperance Uqion has issued ao address to brewers, distillers, rectifiers, wbolesale dealers and saloon-keepers, reciting the progresa prohibitiou has made through out the country, though admittíng that "prohibition does not prohibit." The principie of license is antagonized because the liqoor men favor it, and the address says 'that uodue denunciation has fallen on the saloonkeeper, wbo has been "merely the catspaw to pull the chestnuts out of the lire for the rich men back of him." Liqnor makers aad sellers are notifled that the doom of the liquor trafile is sealed.
