Washington, April 12.- Tha Presiáent has appointed the followinx gentlemen as commissioners to investígate the aflairs of the Paciñc railroads unüer the act passed by the last Cíongress : David T. Littler, oí Illinois; ex-Governor Pattison, of Pennsylvania, and K Ellery Anderson, oí New York.
