An Elevator Drops Five Stories

CoNNERSVn.LE,Ind., April 22.- The elevator at Cooley & Morrison's furniture f actory in this plaoe dropped from the üfth story of the building to the basement at nine o'clock yesterday morning, caused by the cable breaking. Three men were on it at the time. Robert Hampson, aged thirty, was instan tly killed; William Burkus, was Xatally injured, and John McCormick was badly tmrt, but will recover.
