Southern Lumbermen Protesting

Montoomert, Ala., April 26.- A meeting of lumber manufacturera was held here yesterday. Alabama and Mississippi were represented. A petition to the Inter-Stato Commerce Commission was adopted, asking for the suspension oí the fourth section of the Inter-State law, as the lumber business is terribly demoralized by the increase ín the f reight tariff.
