At a reoent meeting of Welch Post, No. 137, G A. R , an executiv committee was appointed consisting of R. Campbell, H. Soule, C. E. Greene, H. 8. Dean, and Conrad Noli, whioh committee was empowered to make arrangements for the obaervaaces of Decoration Day, Monday, May 30. Thefollowing sub-committees have been appointed, and other partial arrangements made as follows: Marshal- Harrison Soule. Flnance Committee- W. B. Smith, H. S. Dean, C. Noli. Committee on Flowers- J. T. Jacobs, E. S. Manly, A. F. Martin, J. Sthanz, W. Fisher, W. Paul, wivesof comrades and Ladies' Decorating Society. Committee on Music- A. Wilsey, W. H. Dorrance, W. H. Jackson, Conrad Noli. Committee on Hall and Hall Decoration- J. H. Wade, W. K. Childs.M. E. Cooley, W. J. Herdman. Committee on Reception- W. C. Stevens, W. F. Breakey, C. H. Manly, Committee on Printing- Jas. B. Saunders, J. Q. A. Sessions, N. H. Winans. Cemeteiy Committee- I. H. Stark, Patrick Irwin, E. S. Manly. All civic and other organizations are invited, through this notice, to join in the procession and proceedings oL the afternoon, and will be assigned positions by applying to the marshal. Decoration of graves in the forenoon. Literary exercises in the afternoon at University Hall. Oration delivered by Capt. E. P. Allen, M. C, of Ypilanti. Special sermón by Rev. W. W. Ramsay, at 10:30 o'clock, local timp, Sunday, May 29, a he Methodist church. All old soldiers are invited to fall in with the Post. The public generally are invited to attend. _______
