Rev. J. A. Kaley is at Laosing attendmg the State Congregado nal Association. Rev. Dr. Holmes will preach at the Congregational church in thig place next Sunday. A. Allison, in uniting the two offices, moves the Echo into the room occupied by the Herald office. A few cents rise on the price of wheat has brought large quantities to this market within the past few days. Married, Sunday, May 15, 1887, by Rev. T. RobinsoD, Mr. L. Winans and Mrs. Mary Burchard, all oL Chelsea. H. S. Holmes & Co. have greatly improved their store by putting in plate glas; front, and the tree use of paint and wall paper. County Clerk Howlett, accotnpanied by his wi'e, drove through Chelsea last Saturday, on his way to faia farm home in Lyndon. It is reported by Madam Rumor, who is always eupposed to know, that seven weddings will take plac in this vicinity this week. Married, at the home of the bride's mother, on Wedneeday, May 18, 1887, by Rev. Thomas Holmes, D. D., Mr E. G-. Hoag, of the firm of E. Gr. Hoag & Co., and Mies Ermina Geddes, all ot Chelsea. This is the event of the week, here. The parties occupy the highest position of character and respectability, and eĆ¼joy the good will and bsst wishes of the entire coimmunity in the voyage of life on which they have embarked together. The newly constituted fimily took the afternoon train fjr a pleasure trip through New York, Philadelphia, Washmgton, etc, and will be gone some two or three weeks.
