WAsniSGTON, May 17. - The Signal Office weather-crop bulletin for the week onding May 14 says that generally in the wheat and corn regions oí the North the week has been excepüonally favorable for agricultural pursuits. The dry, warm weather continúes in the cotton regions east of the Mississippi, while the rains west of the Mississippi have been favorable to the cotton erop. Although there is a large defleiency in the rainfall in the cotton región the recent showers have improved the condition of the erop in the lower Mississippi valley, while the weather in North and South Carolina and Southern Virginia is reported as favorable to the growth of the plant.
