Sale Of Part Of A Canal

Fort Watne, Ind., June 14.- At sheriff' s sale Saíurday ttie Wabash & Erie canal property was sold to the purchasing committee of the Nickel Píate, represented by Frederick P. Olcott, of New York. The price paid was $15,000. The part of the canal sold runs from the ühio State line to La Gro, Ind., through Allen, Huntington and Wabash counties, and was appraised at $16,000.
