Indianapolis, Iad., July 12.- Since the last Legislatnre passed the law appropriaüng $200,000 for a soldiers' monument the feeling is growing that it would be mnch more ñtting to buüd a home for aged and dependent soldiers, hundreds of whom are in the poor-houses and can not get in the Dajton Home or similar institutioas. The Adjutant-General Jaily receives letters from those men begging him to provjde some support for them. Nothing of this kind _an be done, however, until the next General Assembly meets.
