Galesburo, HL, July 9.- The trial of Jimmy Carroll, who has been in jail here for over a year for bemg concerned with "Mollie" Matches and Paddy Guerin in the robbery of the Farmers and Mechanics' Bank here in June, 1879, came to an end yesterday morning, the jury iinding Uarroll guilty and fixing his time in the penitentiary at eight years at hard labor. A motion for a new trial was overruled by Judge Glenn this afternoon. ïhis Is the Jast of the famous gang that robbed tha bank of some $15,000 in broad daylight.
