One Of Daniel B. Brown's "friends" Caught

There is little doubt but that one of the sharpers who viotimized Daniel B. Brown, of this city, out of $2,700 a few weeks ago, has been caught in Chicago and will soon be brought to this city. Every since the affair happened the officers of this city and Toledo bave been dilligently on the hunt until last week when one of them was apprehended in Chicago by a Toledo detective and arrested, giving his name bb Thoe. O'Brien. Mr. Brown went to (Chicago and clearly identiSed the prisoner as the one who acted the part of the agent of the lottery compaay. Sheriff WaUh went to Lansing Monday to get the necessary requisition papera, and from there went to Springfield, 111?., where he obtained similar papers from the Governor, for the transfer of the man to this city. There is little doubt but Sheriff Walsh will return with him though he is now out on $10,000 bonds whioh were furnished by Hike McDonald. If brought to this city his conviction is assured.
