Envelope-makers Combine

New York, July 18.- ïhe principal envelope manufacturers of New York and 2ïew England, representing fully ninetenths of the envelope production of the United States, and making f rom 10,000,000 to 12,000,000 envelopes per day, have entered into an arrangement for advancine the price of their goods. The new corporlüon is called the Standard Envelope Gompany. It is claimed that there is no intention of raising prices to an unreasonable figure. Theestimated increase is between í ve and ten per cent.
