Chicago, July la.- At the temperance convocation at Lake Bluff Saturday Senator Colquitt, of Georgia, gave some interesting detaĆ¼s of what prohibition has done and is doing in the South. In the twelve Southern States there were fewer saloons to the population than in any other States ezcept Maine and Kansas. Local option had been adoptcd in Georgia and Alabatna, and prohibition was a complete and permanent suecesB.
