Summer School Of Advanced Pedagogy
A movement has beea on foot for some time among some of the prominent teachers of the state, to have a permanent summer school of pedagogy established at the University. Yielding to the earnest solicitation of his friends, Prof. W. H. Payne consented to cake steps to assist in the organization of such a school, and has recently completed a series of twenty-four lectures before the first class. The object of the school is to enable teachers who have made some advance in the study of pedagogy, to become better acquainted with the theory, or scientific principies of their art.
