Obituary
Died of consumption, in this city, on the 16th day of August, 1887, at the residence of her daus;hter, Mrs. Wm. N. Cooper, Mrs. Mary Ann Griffin, aged 77 years. Mrs. Griffin was bom at Harvard, Mass., in the year 1810. Her early life was spent in the Eastern staten, bat for the past 25 years she had resided in this city. She was the mother of ten children, five of whom are living. She was a pensioner of the late war, having two song who gave their lives for their country. After a long, painful illness, cndured with great patience and fortitude, she has at last entered into rest.
