The Medical Congress

Washington, Sept. 6.- The International Medical Gong ress commenced in this city y esterday, over 2,500 physicians being present from all portions of the world. President Cleveland opened the convention and Secretary Bayard delivered the address of welcome. Dr. Nathan S. Davis, of Chicago, was chosen president. Brief and appropriate speeches were made by several delegates from abroad, after which President Davis read his opening address.
