The Fisheries Question

Washington, Sept. 30.- The President having invlted Hon. William L. Putnam, of lía ne, and Hon. James B. Angelí, of SticMgan, to act wltti the Secretary of State in negotiation for a seitlement with Great Britain of the disputes growing out of the fisheries questions, these gentlemen have accepted the trust Mr. Putnam is a Demoorat and Mr. Angelí Ís a Bepublicau.
