Antón Eisele, the well-known Detroit st marble dealer, died M itiday morning, after a lona; illness, of consumpüoa. Deceased was bom in Germany in 1840, and was tberefore 47 years old. Wben 20 years oíd he emigrated to this coun ry, and located in this city, where he has ever tince rended. A few years afterwarris he engaged in businesswith hia bro'her J"hn, ti which bu iness he succeeded in 1869, and bas kiuce carried on. He was an act ive mnmber of the O. M B. A., A. O. U. W., St. Lawrence Benevolent Society, Grerman Workingmen's Assooiation, Beethoven Gesangvrretn, and a leading member oL the St. Thomas Choir. Iq nearly all of the sacieties to wh ch he belonged he held some position of honor at the time of his death. He had served two terms as supervisor and one term as alderman trim the Fourth ward. He leaves a wife, seven children, and a host of friends who umurn bis loss. The funeral serviops were held Irom St. Thomas' church, ol which he was a member, this morning at 9L o'elock. RESOLUTIONS OF OONDOLENOE The following'resolutkms were adopted at a regular meeting of the C. M. B. Resolved. That we tender to the bereaved family in this. iheir hour of trouble and ffliction, our sincere and heartlelt syrapatby. and whi e sorrowinet w th them in their lo8. we earnestiy prav he will reap the fruits of a wellspent lile. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be prsented to the fami y. and ihat they be pub lished in the official orgau of the C. M. B. A. and the city papers.
