Cruelty In An Indiana Reformatory

IüDiANAroLia, Ind., Nov. 30. - The investipation made by Governor Gray Into the charges of crnelty preferred againstthe offlcers of the Pemale State prison and reiormatory show that they were not made without cause. In many cases the inmates have been subjected to punishment that was unnecessarily severe.
