Beecher's Eulogist Explains His Difficulty with Plymouth Church.

New York, Nov. 29.- Dr. Parker telegraphs from Chicago that he only received $700 for the eulogy on Beecher, and that this was to cover 6,000 miles of travel, pay for the supply of his pulpit for five Sundays, and for the whole time and expense. This telegram was submitted to Major Pond, of Plymouth Church, who said that it was substantially the truth. Dr. Parker is announced to preach in Plymouth Church December 4, but the probabilities are that if he appears in the pulpit he will be accorded a very cold reception.
