Bt. Paul, Minn., Dea 28.- During me lMt day there was a change of 28 degrees in temperature, and at 7 o'clock yesterday morning the mercury stood 1 8 degrees below zero- the coldest weather St Paul has experienced this winter. It is genera! thronghout the Northwest The crest of the wave was in the vicinity of Fort Totten yesterday, where the temperature was 32 degreeB below zero. Milwaukee, Wis., Dec. 28.- A blizzard raged in the State all yesterday. Half a foot of snow feil and the winds have piled it up in drif ts, but no blockades have resulted. Freight trains are delayed, but not seriously, and passenger trains are running as usual. The snow-fall was very even throughout the State. The temperature has fallen nearly to zero. Dubuque, Ia , Deo. 2 8.- There has been a blizzard over Northern Iowa. Trains from Dubuque and Sioux City west of Waterloo are all stopped and are being housed at various stations tül the storm blows over. MM Kansas Citt, Ma, Dec. 28.- Another oold wave swept over this región yesterday. At 8 o'clock yesterday morning the thermometer registered 34 degrees above zero. A fine sleet began falling with a high wind driving it about in regular blizzard f ashlon. The falling temperature soon checked the snow, however, and at 10 o'clock last night the mercury was 5 abova and still falling. No interruption in railway trafile is reported. Gabden Citt, Kan., Dea 28.- A blizzard struck this section yesterday and the mometer rapidly descended from 30 degrees above to 8 below zero. At 4 a, m. it was blowing a gale, aocompanied by a blindiDK snow. At 8 a. m. it began to moderate and the thermometer roee to 20 degrees at noon. At midnight it stood 9 degrees above, wlth a clear sky and calm.
