I heanl a funny story recently oí an acto some timo ago, who was playing in a farce, in which it was necessary for him to use a large dough nose. One night when he got to the theatre he found no flour, and sent the boy uut for some. Hack carne the boy, tbe nose was made and whipped on. Presently, to the horror of the actor, the nase began to swell, tül at length, in the midst of an important passage, it burst and feil to tha ground. It had beon made of self raisiqg flour, and the heat of the aotor's face had aecomplished the catastropht. - Newport Post,
