New York, May 5.- A large meeting to express satisfaotion wilh Mayor Hewitt's policy oí displaying none but American flags on public buildings was held at the Cooper Union last night, The hall was profusely decorated with the National emblem. AH the speakers eulogized Mayor Hewitt's courage and independence.
