Burr, of Hartford ; James T. Pigrgott, of ew Haven ; Charles M. Allen, of Putnam, and Wilham H Barnum. District delegates were also chosen. The platform demands a readjustmentof the tarift laws; calis on Congress to revise the internal-revenue laws ti resrard to tobáceo; indorses Mr. Cleveland Administration. and instructs the telegatea to vote and work for nis renomination. Omaha, Neb., May 3.-The Democratie Btate conveniion was held in this city yesterday, and delegates were chosen to St. Louis' who favor Cleveland's renomination. Louisville, Ky., May 3. -The Republioans met and chose delegates ',to the Chicago convention. They were uninstructed. Boiss City, I. HARRipmito. Pa., May 3. -The Prohibitionists met in this city yesterday and elected delegates to the National convention at Indianapolis. The platform pledges the party to the policy of total prohibition by constituí ional amendment; opposes all forms of license; favors the election of President.Vice-Presidentand United States Senators by direct vote of the people ; demands full protection to American industries, and declares for woman suffrage. Fort Scott, Kan., May4.-The Republicans of the Second Congressional distriot renominated Congressman Funston by acclamation yesterday. Resolutions were passed congratulating Senator Ingalls on bis speech of Tuesday. Trenton, N. J., July 4. - Delegates-atlarge to the Democratie National convention were chosen by the State Democratio convention Thursday. They are: GovI ernor Green, ex-Governor Abbett, Moses Bigelow and Senator Barker. A full list of I district delegates was chosen. Charleston, W. Va., May 4.- The Union Labor party held its State convention here Thursday and nominated a full State I ticket, headed by S. H. Pierson, of Wood County, for Governor. The resolutions declaro for the protection of American industries, arraign the present Administration for its selfish and sectional tanff policy, and urge the delégales to use every honorable mcans to secure the nomination of ex-Governor Alger for President. Lansisg, Mich., May 9.-The Oreenbackers met yesterday in this city and elected delegates-at-large to the Cincinnati convention The resolutions declared renewed fealty to the Greenback principies, and mstructthe delegates to the National vention to umte witn any urgauuouvu adopting the essential principies of the Greenback party. The delégales were instructed to vote for the nomination oí Ueneral Weaver for President. Concord, N. H., May 9. -The Republicana met in this city yesterday and selected National delégate who go to Chicago umnstructed. The platform denounces the Administration at Washington for its tanff policy, its pension policy, and lts pretense" of Civil-Service reform, and denounces the Democratie party for ïdcntifying itself with the interests of the liquor dealers throughout the country. Dover, Del., May 9.- The Demócrata convened in this city yesterday and elected delegatesto the National convention. The platform favors Cleveland's renomination and indorses the Mills Tariff bill.
