Canada Ratifies The Treaty

Ottawa, Ont., May 0.- Sir William Ritohie, Chief Justice of tho Supreme Court, came to the Senate yesterday afternoon endowed wit h power as Dcputy Gov1 crnor-General and assented to the act to ratify the fisheries treaty, whioh thus becomes a statute of the OonJ'nion.
