AL.TO0NA, Pa., June 80- The Pennsylvania railroad ofticials conceived the idea a few dajs ago tttat an engine could be built in less than twenty-four hours- the best time on record, which was made at the Baldwin locomotive works, ofPhiladelphia. Accordtngly work was begun Tuesday morning and In sixteen hours and nftj;-nve minutes the engine was completed and turneü out oí íhe shops ready for use.
