Six Tramps Smothered In Wheat
Om aba, Neb., July 27. - A car on a f reight train of the Union Pacific jumped the track near Yutan station, on the Lincoln braneh. It rolled cown the einbankment and righted itseli bclow. The accident was caused by a broken wheeL The train stopped and the train hands went to work to clear up the debri9. The wrecked car was loaded with wheat. Noticing the scals broken they were led to believe some ono was in the car. The grain was shovelcd out. The bodies of lour men, smothered to death, were soon found. When the end of the car was reached two more corpses were found, making six in all. They were all tramps, stealing a ride.
