Cutting, of Boston, of the firm of Joe T. Jacobs & Oo., spent Saturday and Sunday here with his family. Rev. Henry Gelston and family of Leland, Florid, nre visiting Mr. Gelston's father, Rev. M. Gelston, on Washington street, Mrs. W. B. Jolly is now visiting her daughter, Mra. Dr. C. M. Johnson, and son, Fred Jolly, at Harvard, 111. She will be absent about two weeks. Rev. Dwight Ramadell and Miss Grace Laraway, of Northfield, were married yesterdav, at the residence of the bride's parents.Mr. and Mrs. Haskell Laraway. ' Drs. Wood, McLachlan, Arndt, and Dr. I. N. Eldredge, of Flint, each accompanied byhisbelter half, spent yesterday arternoon at a quiet little picnic of their own at Whitmore. Miss Virginia Law, Minnie Cowen and Misses Mary and Lucy Chapín, left Monday by boat from Detroit for a trip around the Lakes. Miss Law will remain at CharleToix, a guest of Mrs. Prof. Olney. A high-toned wedding oocurred at Houghton, in this state, July 10. the groom, Frank N. Maiw, being well-known here. The bride was Misa Rose Brady, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Brady. The marriage took place at St. Ignatius' church. The bride wore white silk and orange flowers. After a reception at the residecce of the bride's parents, the newly married couple lelt for Humboldt, their future home. Mr. Maas was a pharmic of '80.
