Mr. Braun On The Fox Chase
To the Editor of The Registkk : Sir : - I wiek to naake an explanation concerning the "fox chase." The object of the chsse was to show what a good fox-hound will do. Had the owner of the fox led him in front of the dogs three or four timee, and then starled off around the ring on a walk, (as he was told to do) and if the people had kept off the track, we could have given an exhibition well worth the 25 cents paid for admissioD. Had tbe spectators not crowded in upon the track, we would also know whether the dogs were good on the scent or not Í must say that the spectators who remained on the track were not gentlemanly nor courteous, altor we had given them the grand Btand tree of charge.
