E11Í8, of lonia, the candidate for Attorney-General, was next introduced, but the honr benig late he only spoke a few minutes. He showed that State taxes in 1884 were between 90 cents and 110 cents on the hundred dollars, and in 18S7 they were 235 cents ou the hundred ; this showed a deal of extravagance which should be reformed. The money was juandered by a creatiou of a multitude of new offices. Tos.
