Philadelphia, Oct. 10. - Dr. William Pepper, who as Consulting physician attended the late General bheridan during liis last illnoss, has been asked by Colonel Bheridan to render a bilí for his professional services. In reply to this request Dr. Pepper, under date of October 3, sent the folio wing to Colonel Sheridan: aI um in receipt of your noto or Septemler 88 requesting me to forward you an account Cor professional services rendercd in consulta Hou to the late General Sheridan. You must permit me to say tlmt I desire these services to be regarded only as an expression of that deep and last ing obligation which I, in common with all others. owed to him."
