Chicago, Oct. 6.- The conductors, drivírs and gripmen of the North Chicago Btreet Raiíroad Company, over 500 in num)er, struck this mornisg. The men ask for a revisión oí the hcurs of labor, and the establishment of the following scale of prices: Horse-car men, 21 cents per hour; irail-ear men, 33 cents; grip-car men, 27 ïents. Chicxoo, üct. 9.- The West-side Street, ?r drivers and conductors quit work this norning out of syuipathy with the Northiide strikers. Tiiey claim tbat as the ínes on which they are employed are ander control of Mr. Yerkes, they fear a reduction in wage should the latter be mocesstul in nis trouble across the rivor.
