Crash At A Celebration

Qüinct, 111., Oct. 12. - It is now kaown that about Í00 persons wcre injured by tho falling of the amphitheater at the exhibition oí fireworks Wednesday nlght, instead of 500, as at ñrst stated. So far none of the victima have died, but little hopes are entertained for the recovery of several of the wounded. Many of tha Blifchtly-injured visitors were taken to tbeir homes yosterday. The catastrophe was caused by the lack of proper braces on the west end of the amphithestor. Considerable strong language was iadulged in toward the contractor yesterday.
