Two Ladies Killed

Heury Martin and Mus Kate Powers, tvvo ladies living in one of the suburbs oí Ibis city while dr ving aeross the Rock Island railroad track at Forty-seventh street Friday aíternoon were etruck by a locomotive and instantly killed, their bodins being horribly mutilated before the train eould be stoppeti. The gatos of t:.:' rrossing had been removed for repairs.
