A Republican State Convention to nomínate a Justiee of the Supreme Court in place of Thomas K tíherwood, and two Regents of the State Umversity in place of Charles s. Draper and Austin Blair, and for the transaction ol other business, will be held at the Detroit Kink, on Thursday, Feb. 21, 1889, at 12 o'clock. In accorcJanee with a resolution adopted at Grand Rapids, May 10, 1876, every county will be entitled to one delégate for each 500 of the total vote cast for Governor at the last State election (Nov. 1888), and one additional delégate for every lraction amountlng to 300. but each organized county will be entitled to at least one delégate. Under a rosolmion of 1888. no delégate will be entültd to a seat in the Convention who does not reside in the county he propo-es to represent. In compliance with a resolution adopted in Detroit June 23.1880. theSecretary of each county conveutiou is requested to lorward to the Secretary ot the State Central Commiuee, No. 11 Rowland-st., Detroit, by the earlitst mail afler ihe deleeates to the State Couvention are chosen, a cerlified list of such delegates as are entitled to a seat in the State Conveutiou from the ir respective counlies.
