An Editor Shot

MOUNT HOBKB, Wis., Fcb. 2- ü. G. Mandt, editor of Ule Sun, a Prohibition paper pubiished here, was shot and mortally wounded in hU own house Thursday night by an unknnwn miscreant, who made his escape. Mr. Mandt had been publishinj the Sun for bout a year, and made a b tter and persistent fight aguinst the liquor element. There is great excitement amonp; the inhabitants, and an indignation mot;tin;r has been held, at which it was resolved tohuntthe criminal or crimináis down at all hazards, and bring the guilty ones to justice.
